Came across this recipe and it's link and thought I'd share it with you. I haven't tried it yet, but hey, it's BACON and you know it will be fantastic!!!!

I'll probably make some during this next week and will let you know how it is.

Ladies, if you have not tried this, all the reviews are true, on the link for the recipe. I served it to my card club last night, and they were thrilled with it. Another recipe cooks it in the crock pot, uncovered, for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, at the last stage, and I found that to be easy as you do not have to watch it for a half hour on the stove. I did not want to buy pure maple syrup, so I used pancake syrup and maple flavoring.

I'm sharing the recipe with them at the next meeting, as they requested.
